The work of Cumann na mBunscol an Dúin was acknowledged nationally when their PRO Paddy Campbell was awarded a trophy and a citation at the 9th Annual Cumann na mBunscol Naisiunta  sponsored by Gaelic Telecom in the Berkley Court Hotel Dublin. A panel of assessors chaired by Marty Morrissey RTE and  comprising of former Armagh captain Jarliath Burns and journalists from both the Irish Times and the Irish Examiner praised An Dún for this really genuine superb entry in the Public Relations of the Year section. This winning entry far surpassed all others in both quantity and quality. Gaelic Telecom also donated a cheque to Cumann na mBunscol an Dúin for the continuation of their work.
