St. Patrick's Boys' Downpatrick INTO Champions of Down

The Annual INTO 7 aside Football Championship for the Patsy McArdle Shield was won by St. Patrick’s Boys’ P.S. Downpatrick. Having accounted for St. Bronagh’s P.S. Rostrevor, St. Malachy’s P. S. Castlewellan and Carrick P.S. Burren in the earlier rounds, they beat the much fancied St. Dallan’s P.S. Warrenpoint in the semi-final and St. Patrick’s Hilltown  in the final to be crowned 7 aside champions of Down for 2007. The school will now represented their county in the regional finals in Monaghan in May.
